Weather and Winds
Croatia has two main dominant climatic zones. Delightful warm summer season and cold winter occur in the Pannonian and Para-Pannonian plains, as well as the mountain areas. The plain could have a temperature average of 20 ºC in June and 0 ºC in January, -20 ºC in winter and high summer temperatures of 40 ºC. The Dalmatian coast experiences strong winds known as “sirocco wind”. Summer period comes with gentle winds in the north and winter with lots of colds. Best Seasons
This awesome country is best visited in summer if you are looking for sunny beaches to lie on and water with perfect temperature to swim in. September to May is advisably the best time with warm temperatures and sunny weather, although these late summer months may not entertain a lot of open bars on the coast as it does in the peak of tourist months.
